Switzerland is home to some of the world's leading food and beverage manufacturers. Large food companies based in Switzerland include Nestle S.A., Kraft Jacobs-Suchard Dime, Novartris Nutrition and Lindt und Sprungli Aktiengesellschaft Chocoladefabriken. Among the large beverage companies are Chocolat Frey AG, Alprose Chocolat and Feldschlosschen-Hurlimann. These companies export a large percentage of their products and production plants outside Switzerland.

DENMARK: GMT TO INVESTIGATE MULTINATIONALS
Article Abstract:
Told & Skat, the Danish customs and taxation authority, is to investigate multinational companies which pay extremely low tax in Denmark in relation to turnover. Among these are Nestle and Unilever, the corporate tax payments of which total DKr 51mn (USD 7.2mn) out of a DKr 28bn turnover in the past ten years. The Danish Taxation Minister Ole Stavad fears that the companies manipulates transfer prices, but both Nestle and Unilever reject these accusations.
