Article Abstract:
White Star Line (WSL) is set to build a replica of the ill-fated Titanic which sunk 900 km off the coast of Newfoundland on Apr 15, 1912. The new Titanic will serve as a tribute to the 1,500 passengers who were killed when the original ship struck an iceberg. It is expected to cross the Atlantic on Apr 10, 2002, 90 years after the legendary ship's tragic voyage. WSL is a newly-formed company and is a subsidiary of G&E Management Consultants and Trustees based in Basel, Switzerland. Reproducing the 275-meter long luxury liner is expected to cost WSL anywhere from $400 to $600 million.
