Analysis of optimal opportunistic replenishment policies for inventory systems by using a (s, S) model with a maximum issue quantity restriction
Article Abstract:
A method for controlling the inventory when demand is lumpy is suggested based on a (s, S) model that restricts the quantum of issue at any time. The reorder or replenishment of inventory in the mathematical model is based on the opportunities.
