Article Abstract:

The Sikorsky MH-53, long-considered as the backbone of the AFSOC, entered the service in 1967 as a replacement for the short-ranged HH-3F. Testing times for MV-22

Article Abstract:

The Bell-Boeing V-22 fleet has been grounded once again following the discovery of a loose gimbal ring bolt in a prop-rotor gearbox during a maintenance inspection of one of the US Marine Corps aircraft. The grounding has led to concerns that the Defence Acquisition Board may nott approve clearance for full rate production until members are better satisfied that the tiltrotor meets safety and reliability criteria.
