Article Abstract:
Details of the conversion of a neglected house, Compton Verney in Warwickshire, Great Britain and its substantial modern additions are presented, together with its history going back 600 years. The completed house, converted to an art gallery was inaugurated in March 2004.

It is difficult to design a building without interface between metals. The interface therefore need to be carefully considered at the initial design stage, as with awareness it can be used positively to gain superior cladding performance.
