Asia's 'one-strike culture.'(Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's Super-Performer list)

Article Abstract:

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's 2001 Super-Performer survey listed only two Asia-Pacific companies out of 200 of the fastest-growing companies in the world, compared to 17 in 1997. Hong Kong's Legend Holdings Ltd. and Singapore's Flextronics International Ltd. made the list for innovative business strategy. Administrators of the list claim that the Asian number is down because of a timid business culture.
