BT pays 638.2 million euros for Yellow Book USA

British Telecommunications PLC (BT) has purchased Yellow Book USA for $665 million (638.2 million euros) in cash. Yellow Book is the largest independent publisher of yellow pages in the US. BT will make Yellow Book a part of its expanding Yellow Pages operations. The deal will increase the unit's yearly revenue by approximately one-third to almost $1 billion.
