Balancing act
Article Abstract:
The two key buildings of George Checkley, who was primarily an architectural academic, are very early essays in white Modernism for the U.K. The building Willow House, listed Grade II in 1992 needs some upgrading. Letts Wheeler Architects made many changes to this house to seek a balance between restoration and modern standards.
