Blue Whiting on the Brink. Share-out talks collapse again
Article Abstract:
North Atlantic fishing talks between Norway, Russia, the Faroe islands, Iceland, and the EU met unsuccessfully in Copenhagen to jointly reduce the amount of Blue Whiting harvested. This year, 1,560,000 tones have been harvested, which is more than double what the ICES recommended.
