Boeing bolsters R&D for new 787 to avoid delays
Article Abstract:
Boeing Co. is putting more money into research and development, with half of the money going to develop the 787 Dreamliner jet aircraft. The Dreamliner is still on track, with a May, 2008 delivery date. Rival company Airbus S.A.S. must decide soon whether it will develop an aircraft to compete with the 787.
