Article Abstract:

The Loughborough University business school and economics building was designed by a consortium of architects led by Ahrends Burton & Koralek. Building worked started in October 1996 and was finished by January 1998. The main brief was to design a building which could be split into three areas while retaining a central theme. Curved corridors have been used to compliment the curved exterior walls, while constructive use of glass has increased light and space.
