China is equipping itself to face the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The diseased are being isolated, the travelers have to go through compulsory health checks, and the local committees are keeping a track of the SARS victims'. These precautions are a hindrance to the economic activity but they are effective in controlling the spread of the disease.
