Cambridge geometry
Article Abstract:
Ceramic tiles and bright red bricks were used by UK architect Nicholas Ray when he was commissioned to design a new student accommodation block at Clare Hall, Cambridge University. The wedge-shaped building was designed to fit in with the existing buildings on campus, which were designed by famous architect Ralph Erskine in 1966. Energy efficiency and natural light were two of the most important elements in Ray's design.
