Camillo Eitzen to acquire Songa

Camillo Eitzen & Co. of Norway is to purchase rival Songa Shipholding AS for $1.28 billion. The combined company is to be one of the largest chemical-tanker companies worldwide. Camillo Eitzen & Co. plan to list the new company on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
