Challenger navigates RIBA's stormy waters
Article Abstract:
In her challenge to become president of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Clare Frankl emphasizes her different viewpoint from that of her traditional male predecessors. She sees the media as having a crucial role in publicizing the work of British architects both in the United Kingdom and abroad. Frankl also maintains that it is very important for the general public to have more information about the smaller projects undertaken by the majority of RIBA members.
