Colour-coded cleaning aids hygiene

Article Abstract:

The efficacy of the hygiene systems developed by Denmark based Vikan A/S is examined from the perspective of fish processing industry. The systems have been approved by United States FDA and the European Union. The systems have colour-coded manual cleaning tools for preventing contamination.

Hand wave calls fish to trim station!

Article Abstract:

The fish trimming line introduced by Jorgen Wolfram of Iceland in the Brussels Seafood Processing Exhibition is on duty at Stakkavik processing plant in Iceland. The equipment handles complete processing from gutting, filleting and skinning to the fish leaving the scales after the trimming.

In Iceland two fish processing plants have recorded boost in their output with the installation of the trimming line machinery from 3 -X Stal. The trimming line offers ease of operation, adjustable as per need and easy cleaning.
