Havas Voyages SA, the leading distributor of travel packages in France, has a network of 482 travel agents for a 15.8% volume share of the total travel agency network in 1997. The company has a total of 361 outlets divided between its business travel division and leisure market division. The leisure market division operates 226 general outlets, 15 group travel centers and 49 franchised agencies. The business travel division is represented by 61 business travel centers and representative offices inside client companies. Outside France, the company is affiliated with the global American Express network, which has presence in 120 countries.

Autogrill is ranked the largest commercial catering group in Italy with a total market value of 2% in 1997 and a workforce of over 7,600 people in 570 outlets. The firm has six different type of outlets: Spizzico, Ciao restaurants, Bar Motta, Bar Allemagna, Gelataria Montebianco and the Marche free-flow restaurant chain. Spizzico is the dominant player in the fast food pizza subsector and is the only one to have its operations expanded nationwide and overseas.
