The new Barclaycard headquarters in Northampton featuring an exposed concrete slab soffit to provide thermal mass which moderates the internal environment. The building will thus retain heat in the winter and be cooled by night time ventilation in the summer. There is an emphasis on natural ventilation, with fresh air flow through the use of trickle vents.

Southwark dances to Wigglesworth tune

Siobhan Davies, a choreographer, is getting a new dance studio via the efforts of Sarah Wigglesworth Architects. The studio will be situated on the grounds of the Charlotte Sharman primary school in Southwark, England. What the architectural design entails is discussed.
