Article Abstract:

Investors in emerging markets need to take a more sober view towards economic and political contingencies that can affect financial conditions in developing countries. The fast pace of globalization in trade is likely to slow down. The continued growth of exports fuels the momentum of these emerging markets which could be adversely affected by a number of factors. Military conflicts could also affect today's calm markets and might involve increased tensions between the two Koreas, rivalries between Pakistan and India in addition to Chinese military ambitions.

Money won't stop the growth of more television channels

Article Abstract:

The proliferation of satellite channels offers the opportunity for more effective niche advertising by guaranteeing access to small, selective audiences. The marketing of products through the concept of branding will be revolutionized through the ability to reach targeted markets with selected brand advertising at predictable costs. The future of advertising on satellite television points in the direction of increased competition, characterized by the potential for both great losses and great rewards for advertisers.
