Creative Tech plans to bolster its sales with Audigy line
Article Abstract:
Singapore-based Creative Technology Ltd. is hoping to improve its bottom line with the launch of the Sound Blaster Audigy sound cards line, which delivers better sound than most home stereo units and equal to some professional audio systems. The company had a net loss of $73.4 million for the fourth quarter ending June 30, and sales are forecast to decline an additional $170 million to $190 million. The audio products provide a higher margin of profit over graphics and storage products, which may bring the company out of its slump.
