Editora Perfil has unveiled its first national daily newspaper Perfil after turning out magazines first. Editora Perfil co-owner Jorge Fontevecchia invested $30 million into the full-colour daily periodical's creation. The magazine publisher's officials noted that Perfil is securing 50,000 in target sales. Editora Perfil associate editor Andres Wolberg-Stock justified the price of investment with the need for control on the editorial and industrial aspects of Perfil. Still, Editora Perfil staffers believe that they need to work harder despite Perfil's initial success.

The advertising agency garnered 16 medals from the Art Directors Club to become the most creative German agency again. Jung von Matt has dethroned Springer & Jacoby of Hamburg, Germany. It is notable that Jung's founders Deneke von Weltzien, Remy von Matt, and Holger Jung were once employees of Springer & Jacoby. Jung von Matt posted 182 million Deutschmarks in billings which is equivalent to $101 million.
