DENMARK: PORTS TO CO-OPERATE

Article Abstract:

In Denmark, the ports of Esbjerg and Fredericia will enter into a co-operation deal with the view of consolidating their competitiveness in the container market. Thanks to the co-operation, shipping companies only need to pay one port fee when using both ports. Esbjerg's port director Per Wistoft says stiffer competition forces ports to co-operate in the future.
