Denmark: Health portal faces financial problems

Netdoktor, the Danish health portal, is on the lookout for investors due to serious financial problems. Belatedly, the company yesterday announced its annual report for the fiscal ended on 31 March 2001. It reports a DKr213mn (US$25mn) loss in the period on a turnover of DKr23mn. The loss in the previous fiscal amounted to DKr77mn. According to Borsen's sources, Netdoktor has approached a number of venture companies in Denmark and abroad in order to secure new financing.

Denmark: DLH to trim down profit forecast

Article Abstract:

Dalhoff Larsen & Horneman (DLH), the Danish timber company, will trim down its profit forecast for this year to DKr40mn (US$4.8mn). It was only three months ago that the company trimmed down its profit forecast to DKr70mn. According to MD Jorgen Moller-Rasmussen, the company plans to reduces costs and re-consider its weakest business areas.
