Devils emerge from India nuclear deal

Article Abstract:

India's nuclear deal with the United States is discussed. The Indian government, which was pleading to seal the deal in 2005, is gradually showing its independence. The country entered into an agreement with Iran to complete a gas-running pipeline, and also plans to build new reactors which are not covered in the U.S. nuclear deal. According to U.S. government, a delay in the completion of the agreement can affect U.S.-Indian relations.

Article Abstract:

India's gross domestic product crossed the $1 trillion mark in 2007, making the country the 12th biggest economy worldwide. Its economic growth is attributed to outward investments, particularly foreign acqusitions. The trends in mergers and acquisitions by Indian companies are discussed.
