Dissemination and display

Article Abstract:

Systems Management and Systems Atlanta are jointly developing the ACE-IDS Automated Surface Observing System Controller Equipment-Integrated Display System. The system will be an integral element in the large terminal radar approach control systems planned for Atlanta, GA; Northern California, Potomac, MD; and Honolulu, as well as the satellite air traffic control towers of these sites. ACE-IDS is essentially an information dissemination and display system specifically designed for air traffic controllers, airway facilities and other aviation personnel.
