Does AutoCAD 2005 coast by on autopilot?

AutoCAD 2005 were a party cake, the occasion would be happy collaboration, the filling would be multi-layered with the top sprinkled with hundreds and thousands to make it look more colorful than it really was. Autodesk gets its user to move away psychologically from the AutoCAD digital drawing board towards the integrated model approach, even if it is simply two-dimensional.

The Architectural Desktop 3 is an improved version of Autodesk's ADT modelling suite of products, but it is still not intuitive. The new version features new functions including window assemblies, slabs and floor openings, display management tools, curtain walls, structural members, ducts, and area calculations.

Autodesk has now integrated its CAD software into the internet to produce AutoCAD 2000i which retails at 3,150 pounds stirling, with upgrades ranging from 250 pounds stirling upwards. It has excellent performance speed, but raises some process-management issues.
