Enough of Mitterrand

Article Abstract:

Francois Mitterrand's popularity with the French people will not improve despite the resignation of Edith Cresson as prime minister. France's current malaise was not caused by Cresson, but by Mitterrand. Mitterrand should support a constitutional change to shorten the presidential term of office to 5 years.
