Europe hopes to ride its own Internet wave

Article Abstract:

Many European portfolio managers think that the time to invest in shares of European Internet and technology stocks has arrived. There are relatively few Internet-related investment opportunities in Europe, but share prices are relatively low, compared to opportunities in the US. A plethora of summer 1999 initial public offerings has drawn investor attention to the European Internet/technology sector.
