FAA's cup runneth over
Article Abstract:
Economists at the FAA have reported that all indicators suggest continued growth for US airlines and general aviation despite a slowdown in the national economy, a volatile stock market, strike threats and fears of an economic recession. The FAA predicts that, over a 12-year period between 2000-2012, domestic revenue passenger mile traffic will increase at annual rate of 4.2%, passenger boardings will increase by 3.6% annually and aircraft operations at air traffic control centers will increase each year by 2.5%.
