Gervais introduced Koukoulina, a ice cream to share, in to versions: caramel vanilla with chocolate sauce, and vanilla black currant sherbet with black currant sauce. One must place the mould in hot water, place it upside down on a plate, and un-mould it in order to make the sauce run. The recommended retail price is FFr 19.95 for a 700 ml box.

FRANCE: SOLO ITALIA INTRODUCES CHERRY AMARETTO

Solo Italia has introduced Cherry Amaretto, a chilled dessert which contains cherries in a sauce with broken bits of Amaretto, an almond cake, all covered with an unctuous cream. The consumer sales price is from FFr 13.50 to FFr 15 for a dual pack of two 85 gram cups.
