FRANCE: STALAVEN TACKLES CHILLED DAIRY PRODUCTS

Article Abstract:

Stalaven is tackling the buoyant individual chilled dairy product, which represents 14% of the ready meal sales in 2005, according to forecasts, offering a line of ready meals which have a 10-day use-by date. In order to meet customers needs in terms of packaging practicality and visibility, this line is packaged in a plastic tray with a transparent film covering, all microwaveable. Signs on shelves and A4-size panels are available in stores in order to support this launch.

FRANCE: AUCHAN'S NEW MINERAL WATERS

Article Abstract:

The Auchan retail group has revised the names of the waters it sells under its brand. These include Pyrenees, a mountain spring water in five-litre containers; Alpes, a natural still mountain spring water in 0.5 and 1.5 litre bottles, Oree du Bois, a natural still or sparkling mineral water, or a flavoured mineral water in 0.5, 1.5 and 2-litre bottles. Auchan has also revised its packs of these waters.
