Five of Spain's largest real estate stocks fell by more than 10% each, giving rise to concerns that the country's construction boom, which has helped bolster the European economy, may drop off as well. The selloff was likely driven by the collapse of residential construction contractor Astroc Mediterraneo S.A. the week before.
