Parallel Strategies creates PBR arm

Article Abstract:

Advertising firm Parallel Strategies Group of Calgary, Alberta, created a division, called Zero Gravity, that aims to become a true partner of its clients by implementing a compensation package that truly measures its performance. The unit takes 30% to 50% of its compensation in shares, the balance in cash, while the out-of-pocket expenses are shouldered by clients. Zero Gravity targets start-up companies that have just gone or are about to go public. SInce its launching in Jul 2000, the division already has 15 clients.

Critical mass has shown an accelerated growth in the last 14 months, with several new high profile international clients joining an already long list. With creative designs of the company going beyond the clientEs requirements, the company intends to soon expand its services into various other marketing and communications related areas. Thelton McMillian, president of Critical Mass is optimistic about the future, with expansion being internal and not by way of acquisitions.
