ABN wins Taiwan bank auction
Article Abstract:
Dutch bank ABN AMRO Holding N.V. will assume control of 32 branches of Taitung Business Bank after winning the Taiwanese government auction for the failed lender. ABN will be paid $209 mil by the state-run Central Deposit Insurance Corp. to take over Taitung.
