Article Abstract:

The salient features of Roger Christian IV, a tuna purse seiner built by Chantier Piriou for M. Delponte are described. Chantier Piriou has also built another fishing vessel called Eric Marin for M. Marin. The designs of the fishing vessels are described. The equipments installed thereon are also described. The two vessels will operate in Maditerranean port of Sete.

Full spec stern trawler - despite lack of grants

Article Abstract:

European Union has stopped giving grants for building fishing vessels. Despite this, M. Cies, a Spanish shipyard is building Egunabar, a trawling fillet factory with all specifications. Details of design and construction of the said fishing vessel are presented.
