It has become increasingly widely recognized that physical endurance tests are not necessarily the best way of assessing senior managers and improving their motivation. Training providers now ensure that courses for managers are carefully designed to suit the individual client's requirements, especially as companies now wish to see clear business benefits from such courses. Managers may benefit from a certain degree of physical pressure, but it is clear that they should not be made to go beyond their physical limitations. Latest approaches may use some physical activities for team building, but also include other elements, such as stress management.

Article Abstract:

Many UK companies are unsuccessful in export markets because they fail to make adequate preparations for trading abroad. It is vital to research markets thoroughly, undertake an internal audit to assess financial strength and to establish a proper exporting strategy. It is important to be aware that travelling to overseas markets can be costly and time consuming, so it is wise to begin with a maximum of five markets. New exports should be aware of how long it will take to get paid, and the impact this could have on cash-flow.
