The PhilippinesE president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo tried to attract foreign investors in the country by declaring that the country was in a fiscal crisis. This declaration helped the country to financially look up. However this is a short-term relief from the problems that the country has, as the market of the country is too small to really interest investors.
