Getting ready for war

Article Abstract:

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) may take action against Serbia if Serbian forces are not withdrawn from Kosovo, Yugoslavia. There are risks involved in NATO intervention such as a worsening of relations with Russia, and divisions within Europe. There is also fear that air strikes could be followed by more killings in Kosovo, unless ground troops are also used. There have been problems in supplying aid to Kosovan refugees because of the danger presented by air strikes.
