Goodbye to all fat?
Article Abstract:
High blood cholesterol levels are an important risk factor in coronary health disease (CHD), but there are also other major risk factors. Cholesterol is a waxy substance which occurs in lipids and all body cells. One form of cholesterol, high density lipo-protein, is good for body health as it often carries cholesterol away from the heart. The other form, low density lipo-protein, can lead to build-ups of fatty deposits on artery walls. Blockages due to these build-ups near the heart cause heart attacks. Other CHD risk factors include smoking, obesity and a family history of CHD.

Checks and balances
Article Abstract:
The growing link between mental and physical health is leading many firms to introduce a more long-term and natural approach to employee health screening. The traditional one-off medical assessment fails to show problems occurring later in life or potential medical situation arising due to mental pressures found predominately in the workplace. Ill health results in time off work which places employers at a disadvantage therefore it is in their best interests to ensure a fit and happy workforce.
