Accountants, bankers, venture capitalists, merchant bankers and legal professionals have an increasing number of career opportunities as the industry expands to meet growing business requirements. Some companies are having to employ unskilled people for subsequent training.

Europe's acquisition financiers seek to provide a one-stop-shopping service for their clients and need to understand a wide variety of different financial instruments. Financing solutions such as securitization and receivable financing must be available if finance houses are to have the flexibility to win business for themselves and their clients. An overview of the new methods of financial engineering is presented.

BZW benefits again from SBC Warburg defections
Article Abstract:
Management changes at SBC Warburg have caused several large clients to defect to rival BZW. Among them are pharmaceutical company Zeneca and regional water utility Wessex Water. Others expected to remove SBC Warburg from their list of advisers include Dixons. The changes at SBC Warburg have also resulted in the loss of key staff, including corporate financier Stella Coulthurst, who has joined BZW.
