HBC merges retail loyalty programs

Article Abstract:

The Hudson Bay Co has created a new loyalty program, incorporating sister store Zeller's former Club Z members, to create one of the largest, if not the largest, rewards programs in Canada. Launched in May 2001, the loyalty program's rewards points can be earned at the Hudson Bay family of stores, including the Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters and hbc.com. The main thrust of the new loyalty initiative is to expand to company's share of Canadian spends.
