Hays shares drop after U.K. firm warns of slowdown in second half

Hays PLC saw its share value drop by almost one-third after it forecasted lower-than-expected profits for the 2001 second-half. The company is lowering its current year pretax profit forecast by approximately 8% to 270 million euros to 275 million euros.
