Health check for hospitals

Article Abstract:

The problem of high rates in British hospitals due to emergence of a major building programmed of privately financed hospitals and hospital refurbishment projects, and increasingly innovative and well-designed, PPP (Public-Private Partnership) and LIFT (Local Improvement Finance trust) healthcare building are discussed. The report on the comparison between the French and UK hospitals in terms of design and benefit cost is presented.

A firm footing for good vibrations

Article Abstract:

Steel/composite floors are suitable for hospital use as they can be designed to meet the stringent vibration criteria of hospital nights wards and operating theatres. A study is conducted by Arup, which explains why this construction can readily meet the stringent NHS vibration standards.
