High seas 'must be regulated' - Chile
Article Abstract:
Chile's undersecretary of fisheries, Filipe Sandoval is of the opinion that almost 100 factory trawlers are crossing Chile's fishing limits to catch endangered jack mackerel. The fishing industry and the government both feel the need to regulate fishing in high seas under the given circumstances.
