History will judge 'the greatest period of architecture' ever seen

Article Abstract:

The architectural achievements in London, Great Britain of the 1990's are critically reviewed in the light of a statement made by Sir John of Fowsley in 1995 that the 1990's would be the greatest period of architecture ever seen. It is felt that the projects were aimed at boosting tourism, which as of 2003 is down by 15 percent.
