Article Abstract:
Tension is building between the economically troubled countries of Malaysia and Indonesia and the stable city-state of Singapore. Singapore's plan to stimulate trade financing with Indonesia, which includes a pledge of some $3 billion, has yet to take effect and has strained relations between the two nations.
