ICICI GOES FOR A NEW IDENTITY
Article Abstract:
ICICI Ltd has designed a new corporate common logo which will be used by all its subsidiaries. The new logo will be used across all applications like signboards, billboards and advertising campaigns. The new logo has been designed by Artistree, the design division of Ogilvy & Mather. The new symbol has been designed to project ICICI as a brand with a universal appeal in the financial services sector. The parent company will use the ICICI name with the logo while Technical Development and Investment Corporation of India, its venture capital company, will be renamed as ICICI Venture. Its other subsidiaries will be renamed as ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, ICICI Services among others. (khr)

ICICI OFFLOADS STAKE IN LUCAS-TVS

ICICI has divested its entire 2.5 percent stake, comprising of 49,500 shares, held in Lucas-TVS of Chennai and is no longer a shareholder in the company. Lucas-TVS, a Rs534 crore automotive components manufacturer, has a total of 19.8 crore shares. Sources say that ICICI's divestment is a strategy to exit unlisted companies and concentrate on retail banking. (khr)
