Strong s ales of Macintosh computers and iPods have resulted in a 27% increase in Apple Computer Inc.'s fourth- quarter profit, although these results are preliminary. To compensate for the future saturation of the MP3 player market, t he company is planning to add new products in 2007, according to CEO Steve Jobs.
