Image isn't everything
Article Abstract:
The Pui Kiu Middle School's 50th anniversary predinner party was graced by four leading contenders to the governorship of Hong Kong as it reverts to Chinese rule in Jul. 1997. A Selection Committee will name the final candidates on Dec. 11, 1996. Two of the four leading contenders, Peter Woo and Tung Chee-hwa, hired professional public relations firms for their campaigns while former Chief Justice Yang Ti Liang, one of the most favored candidates, has employed a more modest campaign strategy. On the other hand, Simon Li, also a former judge, seems to be at the tail-end of the race.
