The latest round of talks between India and Pakistan held at New Delhi on September 5-6, 2004 ended again with a ruffled debate on Kashmir issue. Not all was lost though, with the foreign ministers of both countries achieving just enough to keep the peace process alive. The salient diplomatic achievements of the summit are discussed.
